Join Brian Leggat and our team on this 1 day foraging course. Learn to safely Identify edible plants and build confidence to eat wild foods. Brian and the team have extensive experience of foraging and will cover plants that are edible, medicinal, poisonous and their folklore.
Our spring and Autumn foraging courses are very different. The spring will be fresh greens and the autumn offers fungi and more. So both are worth experiencing.
You will learn
- How to gain a foragers eye and start spotting wild food.
- Safely Identify wild food. Know its history uses and folklore.
- Harvest sustainably.
- How to process the food and what recipes work well.
- Developing your foraging skills further.
The course is suitable for
Suitable for individuals, families, groups of friends and colleagues and youth group leaders wishing to learn or improve their Bushcraft skills.
What to bring and wear
Waterproofs and outdoor clothing. Hot drinks will be provided at the campfire during a short break. Bring a packed lunch and any snacks you may want.

Buying a voucher does not reserve a place on the course. You will need to redeem the voucher using the voucher number and return a completed booking form to us. Once the booking form is returned and accepted by us, then your reservation for the course is secured. Booking is on a first come, first served basis. You may not get your preferred dates if you book late.
